	Tamarindo's laid-back demeanor belies a more adventurous side. While some enjoy napping away lazy days on the beach, surfing, fishing, hiking and canopy rides beckon the active traveler in this little beach town. Surfing... Despite the fact that Tamarindo is a huge draw for serious surfers, beginners will find it the perfect stomping ground for an initial foray into the sport.
